John sighs heavily, re-reading over the e-mail and its attachments again and again, looking for the special something that Sherlock is looking for. For John's sake, he needs to find something, because Sherlock losing his mind from boredom is driving John out of his mind. It's not that he minds living with Sherlock most days, but the restlessness is something he could easily do without and on a good day made Sherlock an absolute nightmare to live with. The smells, the property damage, the disembodied parts of people in the worst and most inconvenient of places.... He thought he'd only be in for some late night violin, which given Sherlock's beautiful hand at the instrument, would have been more of a blessing than anything. Had he known this was what he was signing up for... well, he'd probably still have agreed to it, but much more reluctantly.

John takes another look at one of the articles when a small detail catches his attention and it gives him pause while he turns it over in his mind.

"If it helps, the suicides were all on high-risk patients on very restrictive schedules and lists of things they could and couldn't have. Not surprisingly, ropes were not on the list -- which is what the suicide victims were found to be hanged in their rooms with." He looks up again, expectantly, hoping for some sort of sign that it had piqued Sherlock's interest even enough just to get him out of the flat for a while. "Bit weird, isn't it? Rope on a closed ward? Where would you even get that in a hospital?" John shakes his head and turns back to the e-mail. "Nurse Trevelyan says her client is convinced that he's next but he won't tell her why. He's become obsessed with it she says. She's tried to tell him he's safe but... she thinks there's something off about those suicides. Maybe he's getting to her. Either way, she's concerned for him."
